Ancient rural path connecting Papasidero and Orsomarso towns, it has a total length of about 6 km. Frequented since the Basilian monks period (11th-13th centuries), it was trail which led to the Lao valley and the villages located there. The accessible stretch of the trail runs for about 1.5 km along the left bank of the Lao River carved into the rimrock of the mountain. The trail offers panoramic views and landscape glimpses of extreme beauty. Along the rock walls there are two frescoes of the mid-18th century by unknown artists. The frescoes, one depicting a Madonna Our Lady of Grace, and the other Christ carrying the Cross, were symbols of good omen for wayfarers who frequented the trail.
